The Ronix RXT, or as its elongated name otherwise knows it, the Ronix Xperimental Technology board is exactly what it says, the experimental model out of the brand that likes to meddle medley. Between the masterminds at Ronix and pro wakeboarder Massi Piffaretti, they have developed a noticeably more explosive board than almost any other board to hit the market. On the inside is a core that Ronix has dubbed the Blackout core; what is it, you may ask? They won't tell us, so via some creative guesstimation, we've concluded that it is a concoction of dragonhide, woven with fibres from the Stig's own race suit and bonded together with McDonald's long lost Szechuan sauce stolen from the home of the creators of Rick & Morty. To add stiffness, Ronix finished the core with 2 carbon stringers in centre of the board. For the profile, the RXT uses an abrupt continuous rocker, allowing the board to carry speed and store energy all the way to the top of the wake to get that all new massive pop. Making sure you get through to the wake, the RXT features Saw Cut Rails and channels in the tip and tail to maximise edge hold from the very start of your cut through the wake and finish with an immaculate release.


The Ronix RXT takes the lightweight and incredibly comfortable RXT that you've come to love and loads it with even more features than before. Durability is now even more impressive than ever with an X-Pac Composite Sailcloth outer wrap; the RXT now sheds even more weight without sacrificing longevity. From the Brainframe chassis inwards, this wildly comfortable boot maximises support and feel to be one with your wakeboard and fills every gap for a tight fit with its double-lasting shape. However, this toe cap and high back of the boot still have a softer rubber feel for that classic RXT fit. The interior of this boot is designed and shaped like you've had a foot massage and are walking home on marshmallows. With the super fabric lining and Pro SOLE, you will have not just comfort but a performance boot that will boost you higher, land softer, and react faster..

Wakeboard Features

Rocker Line

  • Abrupt Continuous Rocker – When you want that late rampy boost off the wake, an abrupt continuous rocker helps to provide. Its late pulled curve won't only release that stored energy late but also allow the board to continue carrying speed.

Core Construction

  • Black Out Core - This core is so incredibly amazing that Ronix wouldn't tell us what it's made from. So we started digging, accidentally hit China by mistake, popped up in Mexico, got stuck at Donald Trump's wall and finally snuck into the Labs in Seattle. So what makes it so amazing, you ask? It's a wonderful concoction of sugar, spice and everything nice combined with unicorn tears, rocking horse poo and a slight dash of the colonel's 11 secret herbs and spices.
  • Carbon Stringers - Stringers running vertically through the board creating directional stiffness and create Ronix's most explosive pop to date. Or 2 giant gummy worms. What? We told you they wouldn't tell us what's in it; we're just exploring all options.

Rails/Edges

  • Speedwalls - Poured Urethane Sidewalls for greater top water speed

Laminates

  • Monocoque Construction - An outer glass wrap from the bottom to the top, so the flash line is switched out from the weakest point of the board to the strongest. It is also renowned as the most durable construction in wakeboarding.
  • Magic Carpet - Ronix are always sourcing new fibreglass materials trying to find that perfect blend that allows the perfect amount of resin to seep thru and set to their Magic Carpet
